Baptist. Once you've gotten acquainted, we hope you'll worship with us soon in order
to meet us personally. We're a friendly bunch of people eager to know you and
fellowship with you. Our doors are open to
all, regardless of where one is on his or her spiritual journey. Together we're an
active, involved, and growing group of believers and seekers. And our desire is to

Current Reflection
Blowing in the Wind
We will soon be
celebrating and then living in the Season of Pentecost. While
often a lesser known or observed day in the Church year, Pentecost is a significant day. On Pentecost we recognize the birth of the Church in the upper room as
the followers of Jesus gathered in Jerusalem (see Acts 2).
Often we associate
Pentecost, or the Holy Spirit, with wind. There is in fact a root
word association for Spirit and wind. And the description of the
Spirit’s descent at Pentecost includes the phrase, “like the rush of a violent
wind”. It’s this aspect of the Holy Spirit that
